There’s something extra special about photographing an old friend! Carson and I haven’t seen each other since college, so when she reached out about capturing her growing family, I was beyond excited. She and her husband Drew recently welcomed their third baby, sweet little George, and we celebrated with a cozy, love-filled family session in the studio.

Auburn University recently had the incredible honor of welcoming home one of its own — Miss America, Abbie Stockard. Past and present members of Alpha Gam gathered to celebrate alongside Abbie’s family, friends, a host of Auburn supporters and even Aubie came by! As a photographer, I was beyond thrilled to be asked to document this special event, capturing the joy, admiration, and celebration surrounding Abbie’s return to the Plains.

Some photo sessions are truly just special, and my recent time with the Sprayberry family was exactly that. Charles and Dyana reached out to me with a heartfelt request - they wanted a family session centered around their beloved chocolate lab, Nick. Nick has been their loyal companion through so many chapters of life, but with health issues making their presence known, they wanted to honor him while he still had the energy to enjoy the things he loves most - like playing with sticks and chasing her brother Mack!

Kelsey brought the sparkle to her 31st birthday photoshoot! With Hollywood glam as her inspiration, she celebrated in style with pearls, champagne, disco balls, and full-glam makeup. Every detail came together perfectly to showcase her vibrant personality.

This past December, I had the incredible opportunity to train with Amy in her studio, refining my skills and learning new techniques for photographing newborns. Her expertise and guidance inspired me, and I couldn’t wait to bring these enhanced skills back to my own studio.

As I’ve watched my high school seniors grow up and graduate from college, get engaged, get married, and start raising their own families, I’ve started to develop photographer FOMO.
