Kirby’s Senior Session | Kiesel, GPAC, and AU!
It was a pleasure to work with Kirby for her senior portrait session! I’m so excited to share the story of how we captured some truly stunning moments that celebrate her senior year. From the beauty of Keisel Park to the elegance of ballet at the Gogue Performing Arts Center, and ending on a high note with photos on the rooftop of Horton Hardgrave Hall on Auburn University’s campus, Kirby’s session was one for the books!
We kicked off the session at the beautiful Keisel Park! Kirby’s dress flowed in the wind, creating some magical moments as we captured her in motion (which, as a dancer, she often is!) I loved how her choice of going barefoot added to the natural, free-spirited vibe of the photos, and the soft pink ornamental grasses this season offered an extra special feeling.
Next, Kirby switched things up with a cute short dress and a pair of sneakers, which gave the next set of images a fun and casual vibe. The park’s garden area offered beautiful greenery and vibrant flowers that made for the perfect backdrop. It really felt like we were creating something timeless and organic! Special detail - there were SO many butterflies in the garden this day and Kirby happened to have the perfect butterfly necklace to match.
Next, we headed to the Gouge Performing Arts Center on Auburn University’s campus, where Kirby’s passion for ballet took center stage. As a talented dancer at Variations Dance Studio, she effortlessly twirled, posed, and leapt, showing off her incredible ballet skills. We were able to capture some awesome shots that show her expressing her talent and love for dancing, it truly was beautiful.
We wrapped up the session at the rooftop of Horton Hardgrave Hall, where we got an amazing view of Auburn University’s football stadium. With the stadium in the background, Kirby looked stunning, and we captured some great photos that were the perfect way to end the session with a nod to her future plans to attend AU. It was a simple, yet beautiful way to finish a day full of memories.
Kirby, thank you for allowing me to be part of this special milestone moment in your life. I wish you nothing but the best as you head into this exciting next chapter!
