Branding session with Life Coach, Charli
As a photographer, one of the most rewarding aspects of my job is working with incredible individuals who are passionate about their missions. Recently, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Charli McConnell for a second personal branding photo session. Charli, a life coach dedicated to empowering women, first worked with me for a brand shoot in April of this year. This latest session, aimed at updating her photos and further capturing her passion, was just as inspiring and meaningful as the first.
Charli’s mission is something I deeply admire. As a life coach, her goal is to create a safe and nurturing space for women to explore their dreams, overcome their fears, and cultivate self-confidence. Whether it’s navigating personal relationships, advancing in their careers, taking time for self-care, or transitioning through life’s various phases, Charli is there to guide her clients every step of the way.
In addition to her one-on-one coaching services, Charli is also the host of the "Hype Squad" podcast, where she connects with women, shares valuable insights, and celebrates the power of a supportive community.
A personal branding session is an essential part of any business's visual identity. The first shoot we did for Charli earlier this year went so well that it provided her with a foundation of photos she could use for her website, social media, and marketing materials. However, over time, it’s important to update and refresh your images to keep things current and to reflect any shifts in your personal brand or business. For this second session, Charli wanted to update some of her images while maintaining the welcoming, authentic vibe we created last time. This meant staying true to the heart of her brand: approachable, confident, and real. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Charli again, this time incorporating even more personal touches that truly reflect who she is.
The shoot took place in my studio, where we worked to create a space that felt as nurturing and welcoming as Charli’s coaching environment. We included several elements that reflect her brand—items like conversation cards, books, and pieces from her office—giving the photos a more personalized touch and helping to convey the sense of calm and connection she fosters with her clients.
One of the things I love about working with Charli is how she shows up as herself: genuine, kind, and supportive. It’s not just about “posing” for the camera; it’s about capturing moments that reflect her true essence and the authentic connection she shares with her clients. From thoughtful, reflective poses to candid interactions with her assistant, we captured a wide range of emotions and vibes that align perfectly with Charli’s coaching philosophy. It’s been a true privilege to work with Charli again. I’m so excited to see where her mission takes her and how her updated photos will help share her powerful message with even more women.
