Sweet Studio Maternity Session

My last blog post featured a super glam, dramatic, bold maternity photoshoot in the studio, but another momma I worked with recently had a totally different vision in mind! Kalyn (a past high school senior portrait client of mine! What?!) asked if we could create something bright and soft and feminine for her maternity portraits, and we were able to do just that!

Tori Mejia of Artistry Beauty Bar started Kalyn off with a beautiful hair and makeup look before she came to the studio. Using the large windows in my studio, and some extra curtains, we were able to create a dreamy, angelic looking set that spoke to the pure innocence of new life and the blessing of motherhood.

I’m so excited for Kalyn as a first time mom. She is going to be an amazing mother, and I hope these photos will always be a special reminder of this time in her family’s journey.
