Hannah’s Senior Session
Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Hannah’s senior portraits! Hannah is a talented member of the show choir and theater society at Opelika High School. From our first stop to the last, I knew this session was going to be great!
We kicked off our session at the Opelika Center for the Performing Arts, a fitting location that perfectly showcased Hannah's passion for performing. Hannah was a natural in the auditorium, you could tell this is where she thrives. Her parents expressed how these photos truly reflected their daughter and her love for theater.
After the auditorium, we went to downtown Opelika which offered a completely different vibe. We took some photos on a section of disconnected train tracks and strolled along the sidewalks and storefronts. Once of Hannah’s requests for locations was a tall neutral color grass field - and we hilariously were able to make that happen with a random patch of grass (not quite a field), and a little bit of composition/editing magic! Hannah was so natural in front of the camera and it was really impressive how effortless her poses and expressions were.
Our final location was a hidden gem in Auburn that I hadn’t visited before! This spot, where Opelika High School philanthropy students had done a cleanup day, featured a beautiful creek. Hannah loved the scenery and was excited to include this personal and memorable location in her senior session.
I loved capturing these special moments for Hannah and her family. Here’s to all the exciting adventures ahead after graduation!
If you're interested in your own senior session or have any questions, feel free to reach out. Let’s create some great memories together!
