Getting Creative for Ella’s Senior Portraits
I recently had the pleasure of photographing Ella, and let me tell you —her senior session was one of the most creatively ambitious I've seen this year! Ella wanted to showcase her personality and interests, and she did just that! Her outfits were fantastic, featuring a mix of cozy sweaters and stylish dresses that perfectly suited both casual and dressy looks.
We kicked off our session around the Wild Flour Bakery and Standard Deluxe in Waverly, AL. Ella brought along a "fake cake" that she decorated herself to showcase her love of baking and cake decorating. It was not only a fun prop but also a great way to show her creativity!
Ella also chose to include her team spirit and preferred college choice in her senior session too! She sported her Auburn themed cowboy boots and brought along a shaker to represent her love for Auburn University.
Next, we moved to Auburn High School, where Ella incorporated her cap and gown to represent the end of this chapter in her life. Choosing to use her high school as a location made for some truly memorable shots. Putting on the full cap and gown is always a surreal moment - that senior year feeling really starts to sink in!
For our final location, we found some stunning tall grass nearby that added a beautiful natural element to our photos. Ella included a gold scale to reference her Libra star sign and books to represent her love for reading, adding another layer of meaning to her session. Overall, this session was a blend of Ella’s interests and personality. I’m so excited to share these images and celebrate her as she prepares for her next chapter!
Stay tuned for more senior session updates on my blog, and congrats to Ella on her upcoming graduation!
