Addison’s Opelika Senior Session
As a photographer, capturing a senior’s final year in high school is always a rewarding experience. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Addison, a senior at Opelika High School, in a session that perfectly showcased her personality and milestones. From lush greenery to cherished local spots, here’s a glimpse into our unforgettable day.
Our first stop was Botanic in Opelika. The greenery provided a stunning backdrop, enhancing the natural beauty of Addison’s portraits. The light filtering through the leaves created an almost magical atmosphere, perfect for capturing Addison’s vibrant and youthful spirit. It was heartwarming to see Addison’s mom join in for a few shots, adding a personal touch to the session and highlighting the bond between mother and daughter.
Next, we headed to the Monkey Park, known for its covered bridge and unique rocks and creeks. This location was ideal for adding a touch of adventure and playfulness to the shoot. Addison’s interactions with the natural elements, from the water to the rocks, reflected her spirited and personality.
We then made our way to Addison’s church! This venue held special significance, and its architectural beauty added a timeless and reflective quality to the photos. Addison’s church and religion hold a special place in her heart, and she plans to go on mission trips around the world after high school!
To celebrate Addison’s graduation, we concluded our shoot at the Opelika High School football field. The field, a symbol of her high school years and time working on “The Kennel” video productions, was the perfect place to capture the excitement of her upcoming graduation (which will take place on this very field!) Addison posed proudly with “25” balloons, marking her graduation year and adding a festive touch to the photos.
